Wednesday at Work
I work part-time at a play school. One group has three and four year olds and the other has four and five year olds. They have their times on alternate days. Now that father's day is over it is time to get started on Christmas things because they aren't at the play school for many hours each week. So this week the younger ones decided what shape 'gingerbread cookies' they wanted and were helped to cut out out the shapes (most don't know how to cut yet). Then they used a hole puncher and glued the dots on. Then they glued sugar pearls onto the dots. We had thought that the older ones could cut gingerbread figures out of felt by themselves but it was too thick so they were pre-cut for them. They did the sewing themselves with some guidance as to where they should put the needle. They look quite nice on the wall.
